Originally from West Yorkshire, Dr Rizwaan Chaudhry is a highly accomplished dual-qualified dentist, with a unique background in both dental technology and clinical dentistry. His career began with a degree in Dental Technology at the University of Manchester, followed by two years of hands-on experience as a dental technician. During this time, he worked in both a private laboratory and at Manchester Dental Hospital, specialising in prosthodontics and implant-retained dentures.

Building on this technical expertise, Rizwaan went on to graduate in Dental Surgery from the University of Leeds, completing his foundation training in Hull before remaining in North Yorkshire for four years. His strong academic and clinical foundations were recognised early on, as he twice won the prestigious BACD Poster Prize for his research into Digital Occlusion and Digital Denture Techniques. In addition, he has published multiple articles designed to support fellow dental professionals in advancing their skills and knowledge.

Since qualifying in 2020, Dr Rizwaan Chaudhry has travelled internationally to train with world-renowned clinicians, gaining exposure to the latest techniques in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. This global experience has equipped him with a broad skill set and a special focus on complex treatments, including:

Thanks to his unique dual background in dental technology and clinical dentistry, Rizwaan is able to design and fabricate his own dentures, crowns, veneers, and temporary restorations. He also integrates 3D printing technology into his workflow, particularly for creating high-quality temporaries during full smile transformations. This combination of artistry, precision, and innovation ensures his patients benefit from treatment that is not only functional but also aesthetically exceptional.
Dr Rizwaan Chaudhry is currently undertaking specialist training in Prosthodontics at King’s College London, further enhancing his ability to manage complex restorative cases. This includes patients requiring full bite rehabilitation, advanced tooth wear treatment, and multidisciplinary care for long-term oral health and function.

Actively engaged in advancing the profession, Rizwaan is a committed member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD), where he also sits on the Committee. He has lectured internationally on topics such as occlusion, prosthodontics, and digital dentistry workflows, sharing his expertise with colleagues around the world.

In addition, he contributes regularly to the dental profession through writing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) content, supporting fellow dentists in refining their clinical knowledge and skills.
