Yusuf is a highly skilled, GDC-registered specialist in Oral Surgery, with extensive experience across oral and maxillofacial surgery, complex extractions and implant dentistry.
He graduated in Dentistry from King’s College London in 2012, before completing his Foundation Training in general dental practice. Yusuf then undertook three years of Dental Core Training, initially across multiple dental specialties at Guy’s Hospital, London, and later within Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, and Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley. During this period, he gained advanced experience managing patients with facial injuries and fractures, as well as those requiring oral cancer surgery. Alongside these posts, he successfully completed examinations to achieve the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS).
In 2021, Yusuf completed his Specialist Oral Surgery Training Programme at Guy’s Hospital London and King’s College Hospital London. After passing his specialist examinations, he became a GDC-registered Specialist Oral Surgeon and a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
In addition to his clinical practice, Yusuf is committed to advancing the field of oral surgery through research and education. He has published nine peer-reviewed research papers in the field of Oral Surgery and has completed a postgraduate diploma in Implant Dentistry.
